Caring for children of different ages requires patience, understanding, and adaptability. As a mom to a 10-year-old and a late teen, I've learned to tailor my approach to meet their unique needs. For my 10-year-old, I focus on creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and learning through play and everyday experiences. I guide them gently, teaching responsibility and social skills while offering plenty of emotional support. With my late teen, I shift towards fostering independence, open communication, and respect for their growing need for autonomy. I listen actively, offer advice when needed, and support their decision-making to help them prepare for adulthood. Although I haven't had formal training, my hands-on experience as a mom has taught me invaluable lessons about patience, empathy, and flexibility. This ongoing journey helps me grow alongside my children, ensuring they feel loved and supported at every stage.
