Making a difference in people's lives is what drives me. My journey into care began in my teens, offering peer support to someone with psychosocial disabilities. This experience shaped my commitment to positively impacting the well-being of others for over 15 years in Fiji and the Pacific Islands. With two years of solid experience in California, I provide respite, live-in, and hospice care, along with services like errands, personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I'm also experienced in dementia care, medical management, and mobility assistance. My approach is patient, calm, compassionate, and positive. I prioritize building rapport, actively listening to understand preferences, and earning trust to meet individual needs effectively. I'm skilled in de-escalating stressful situations and managing behavioral changes, incorporating a mental health and disability approach for those with dementia, Alzheimer's, anxiety, and depression.
