About Rosie

We were excited at first but ended up very disappointed. We went through the hiring process with video interviews of many candidates, and she was our favorite, so we invited her to come to our house to meet our son. We specifically offered her a flexible start time and hours that would work for her to keep her other nannying job in the mornings. She gave no indication of hesitation and agreed to start one week later pending results of bckgrnd check, certifications, and references. That evening, she messaged saying she would send her references "shortly." Then began a period of 3 days where we tried to contact Rosie through text, calling, and on this website, and did not receive any response. Finally, 4 days before the start date, she texted us and backed out, leaving us with no options as we had already let all other candidates know that we had hired somebody else. The reason: "After thinking things through with my schedule and other commitments, I don't think I'll be able to make this position work." She has put us into a position where we have no care for our 8-month-old baby in the week she was supposed to start, and now we have to start over.
