About Rosie

I am a credentialed teacher with over 18 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including tutoring, nannying, coaching, and swim instruction. I specialize in teaching early elementary students from kindergarten to third grade, with a strong focus on building reading skills, improving confidence in math, and supporting social and emotional growth. I believe learning should focus on the whole child, which is why I incorporate Social and Emotional Learning, mindfulness, and wellness practices into my sessions. I am also certified in yoga, wellness, and SEL, which helps me create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel safe to grow, ask questions, and develop at their own pace. My goal is to meet each child where they are and help them build the tools they need to succeed academically and emotionally.
