I am a 22-year-old paralegal who is new to Brooklyn! Hailing from Chicago/NH, I attended college for four years in California, where I babysat for two families with kiddos ages 8 months - 10 yr/old (afternoons and date nights) over the course of my 4 year college experience. Last summer, I ran a writing program for kids ages 6-13 at a day camp, cultivating small group activities and caring for campers all day. Prior to college, I worked for two summers as a house manager for a family of two kids (ages 9 and 11 at the time), and have experience doing overnights, working with babies, and doing household tasks. I have also worked as a writing and reading tutor for a 12-year-old, and designed a curriculum tailored to her needs.

Ruthie babysat our two boys (ages 4 and 1) and did a fantastic job. The boys were happy and well cared for, which gave us real peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our time out. She communicated clearly, was on time, and very flexible. We would absolutely hire her again if we’re back in New York. Highly recommend!
