I found Sally on care.com last summer, and she worked with us throughout the school year, doing pick ups 4 days per week, driving her to activities, etc. She is fantastic with my very high energy 5yo- learning new songs every day, working on writing letters and numbers, drawing contests, and many trips to the library! She is very reliable and a good communicator. Most importantly, my daughter loves Sally and we can’t wait to have her back when school starts again in September. 

I have always said that Sally saved me. From her first day working for us, she made a strong connection with our entire family. She is caring, kind and patient and quickly bonded with both my 5-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son. She understood their differing interests and needs and found ways to connect and care for them as individuals. Whether it was singing and dancing with my daughter or playing games with my son, Sally always found a way to engage on their levels. She also did a lot around the house for our family including picking up the kitchen and making meals for my kids (ask her about her famous cheese sauce!). Sally went above and beyond every day and any family would be lucky to have her!

Sally has been a regular babysitter for our 5 year old for two years. Our daughter absolutely loves her. They sing and make music, color and do workbooks, share a snack, and visit the local playground. She is very reliable, always on time to help our daughter off the bus, and would help around the house. I highly recommend Sally as a dependable, kind, and engaging babysitter.

Sally was a babysitter for our 5-yr old daughter though the summer. She is excellent! We could not have asked for a better person to spend time with our daughter. Sally is very patient and flexible - she did many activities with our daughter both indoors and outdoors. They became very good friends. The activities that Sally introduced our daughter to were very educational and fun! Sally is extremely dependable and punctual. She is a very warm person as well - we consider her a family friend. We would certainly recommend her very highly and would love to have her babysit for us if the opportunity presents itself in the future.

Sally was my afternoon nanny for the past school year. She picked my sons (ages 8 and 10) from  school and took them for various after school sports and classes. Sally was always on time and very dependable. She is great with kids and could engage with them in a fun yet disciplined manner.  She was always great with instructions and made sure that the boys were in classes prepared and on time. 
She also covered our early release days and some school holidays. She is a skilled  piano player and singer and taught my boys fun songs and played piano for them. She is also a good cook and often cooked lunch for the boys.
Sally is thoughtful, hard working, kind and professional. I would highly recommend her.

Sally has been a wonderful babysitter. My kids really enjoy her company and she makes an effort to talk to them , sing and play piano to them. She has always been punctual (if not early) and very reliable and dependable. She also picked up and took kids to activities  . I would recommend Sally to any family

Sally watched our two kids, ages 10 and 9, after school each day. I would highly recommend her to any family looking for childcare! She is extremely dependable and caring - and takes her job seriously. She was always on time or early, she ensured the kids did their homework, and she drove them to after school activities. And she always made sure our house was tidy when we came home from work. Highly recommended as a child caregiver! 

Sally cared for my two boys, ages 9 and 12 for six months. She was amazing. She greeted them after school, drove them/picked them up from activities, ensured and helped them with their homework and other obligations. She even made sure my house was neat before I came home. I loved having Sally and she has become like a part of my family. I am very sad that we can't have her on a regular basis anymore; my boyfriend lost his job and so he is now home with the kids. Anyone who hires Sally is a lucky family. She is the best person to care for your children. She is loving, thoughtful, kind, great with the kids, even when they resisted her instructions and created a continuous structured family environment for my children when I could not there be there. I would highly recommend her to any family who is looking for someone to care for their children. I would be happy to talk to anyone further who is interested in hiring Sally. She is the best.

My family sought Sally's expertise to care for our mother who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's at the age of 63.  Our mother lives in close proximity but she is single, alone, and far away from old friends and most of her family. She's at a stage in the disease's progression where she has significant dementia but not far enough into it to warrant full time care. We needed someone we could trust to fill in for us during the weekdays when we're all working full time. Having recently lost her license and dealing with the frightening diagnosis our mother was feeling depressed, confused, frightened, alone, and trapped. As much as we did for her nothing seemed to make any positive difference in her somber state of mind.

What she needed was some companionship, someone to look after her without being too intrusive, to make sure she was taking her medicine without making a big deal about it, to take her food shopping, to make sure she's taking care of herself, to talk to her & listen, and to get her involved in social activities, among other things.  Sally has done all of that and more and quite frankly, she's exceeded expectations.  It's worked out very well and we now have more peace of mind knowing there is someone we can trust looking out for our mother when we are not able, if only for a few hours a day.  Our mother has come to trust Sally as has the rest of the family. Her mood and outlook have improved tremendously.  Sally was quite literally, just what the doctor ordered!  
The company, care, activities, & mental stimulation she has provided are important ingredients in our mother's health that go well beyond what any medication can do.  Furthermore, Sally has taken her responsibilities very seriously and can be relied upon to give us status updates and report any issues that may need the family's attention.  She has also intuitively taken cues from our family and come up with great ideas on her own, unsolicited.  

If you are looking for someone who is thoughtful, resourceful, caring, intuitive, patient, & collaborative then I would seriously consider employing Sally's expertise for your loved one.  We have not regretted it and I'm sure you wouldn't either.
