I have 15 years experience in ELA/English tutoring. I have my degree in English and Writing. Tutoring keeps me creative because I like learning how an individual learns (because we all learn differently) and adapting my style to fit what the student needs. I tutor in ELA and English for students from 1st grade-high school in reading, reading comprehension, grammar, writing, phonics, and spelling. If a student is behind and needs supplemental curriculum then I develop one that fits their needs. I also provide homework help. I work with college students in their English classes or any classes requiring papers. I can help with study skills and provide academic coaching which helps a student stay on track with their classes. I started my career with The Princeton Review, so I can help with college admission essays. I like developing a repoire with my students, so they feel comfortable to ask me any questions they need.
