Hi there! I'm Saman, a current Master's student at Columbia and a current medical student at UIW in Texas! I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2020 with my Bachelor's in Public Health. I am currently a medical student at The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas; however, I am on a brief sabbatical in order to pursue my Master's in Public Health here in NYC at Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health. I love teaching; in fact, I was a student teacher during undergrad, where I taught fifth graders various STEM topics. I was also a camp counselor through Camp Kesem, a nonprofit aimed at providing support to children whose parents are living with cancer.
