About Samantha

For over 10 years, I've been helping elementary students unlock their academic potential. With a graduate degree and as a certified teacher, I focus on building confidence and a love for learning through personalized support. I vary my teaching strategies, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions to connect challenging topics to their interests. Regular communication with parents helps reinforce learning at home. I specialize in Math, English, Test Preparation, Dance, Special Education, and Study Skills, while also working with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of my job. I am comfortable tutoring at your home, online, the library, a community center, or a coffee shop.
