About Samantha

Hi there! I'm a 25-year-old psych graduate student with years of experience caring for children, from infants to teens, especially having grown up in a big family. Throughout high school, I worked as a babysitter for neighbors, family friends, & former employers. I also served as a teacher's assistant in an after-school care program during my senior year, &, in college, I worked at a daycare with 2/3-year-olds. After graduation, I spent 3 months in Italy as an au pair for a 7-year-old boy. I provided full-time care, planned fun, enriching activities, and supported his English learning. Recently, through my program, I worked with children & teens at a local children's hospital, gaining valuable experience in emotional support and family-centered care. I also hold CPR certification for children & adults. I'm patient, organized, & quick to adapt to new routines and personalities. I love helping kids feel safe, seen, & engaged.
