About Samantha

Hi! My name is Sam. I am currently working as a radiology nurse, but I have experience with all ages from newborn to geriatric. I began my career in healthcare at just 15 years old while working in a post-anestesia care unit at an outpatient surgery center. By the time I graduated high school, I earned my Nursing Assistant license. I spent my last two years of undergrad as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a geriatric unit at a Behavioral Health Hospital. In 2022, I got the opportunity to study socialized medicine while working in several units at Gemelli University Hospital in Rome, Italy. I worked in pediatric emergency/trauma for the past two years and am certified in pediatric and adult advanced life support. I am currently working towards a Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree at Columbia University. Caring for others is my greatest passion and the most rewarding profession!
