About Samantha

Hi! My name is Sam and I recently moved to NYC! My two passions are acting and working with children, both of which I have been doing for 10+ years! I grew up surrounded by pets, and currently have a 5-year-old cat named Oliver. I love reading, going to museums, seeing shows, and generally anything creative! I have the most experience and training with infants, but love caring for children of all ages! I started working with kids when I was still pretty young myself! My mom was a preschool teacher for 11 years and I frequently helped out in the classroom. I've spent over a year in a daycare setting with infants, and I have 6 years of babysitting experience with children ages 3 months to 12 years. I also was an assistant coach for a 12-year-old girls' volleyball team. If I had to name my top 3 child care skills, I would say my patience, my attention to detail, and my ability to handle crisis calmly.
