About Sam

I'm a certified teacher with over three years of classroom experience, currently teaching 8th grade social studies. I've also taught 6th grade social studies, 10th grade social studies, and 10th grade writing, giving me a strong foundation in both humanities content and writing instruction. In addition to my classroom work, I have experience with AP test prep and enjoy helping students feel confident and prepared for high-stakes assessments. With over 10 years of experience working with children as a babysitter, nanny, and now educator, I bring patience, clarity, and encouragement to every tutoring session. I love supporting students of all ages as they build skills, develop academic confidence, and reach their goals.
