About Sam

Hi, my name is Samantha (Sam) I've been caring for kids almost my whole life - as the oldest cousin in my family and having a brother with a disability, I was always the built-in babysitter, and by age 15 I began babysitting for families in my neighborhood. Since then, I've expanded that experience through teaching and mentoring, most recently as a dance instructor, where I've worked with children of all ages and skill levels. Teaching has taught me patience, creativity, and the importance of creating a safe, supportive space where kids can learn, grow, and be themselves. I truly love working with children because they remind me to stay curious and find joy in the little things, and I make it a priority to encourage them to dream big and believe in themselves-values that guide me as I pursue my own dream of becoming a professional dancer on Broadway! Some great things to know about me are I am patience, responsible, dependable, and treat every child with love and respect!
