About Sam

Hi! I'm Sam, a 27-year-old teacher with my masters in special education and teaching for the visually impaired. Before becoming a teacher, I was a full-time nanny, and I worked I families of up to three children between the ages of 11 months-12 years. I have 13 years of childcare experience working as an Arts & Crafts director at a summer program for blind and visually impaired kids, ages 5-15. I also spent a semester interning at a preschool where I worked with children, ages 2-5, with identified special needs, and one semester as an intern working with teens and pre-teens at a local community center. I'm happy to help with meal prep and housekeeping in addition to child care!
