About Sarah

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am passionate about providing responsive, enriching, and developmentally appropriate care in early childhood. I recently moved back to Austin with my partner and dog and am looking for a part or full-time nanny position in the Austin area while I pursue my Texas Teaching Certification. Through my studies and work experience, I have gained a thorough understanding of child development and am well equipped to help young children grow and thrive. I have experience working as a nanny, preschool/pre-K teacher, and early intervention specialist. My caregiving approach is influenced by Reggio and Montessori principles. I believe in child-led, play-based learning experiences that encourage children to be curious about the world around them. I love creating art and science projects and designing activities that promote early literacy and math skills. Most importantly, I am a warm, sensitive caregiver and model kindness and respect for the children in my care.
