About Sarah

I started tutoring Spanish when I was in high school. Later, I began tutoring English online to students around the world & completed Teaching English as a Foreign Language certification. After graduating with my degree in speech & hearing sciences, I worked as a teacher's assistant in Spain. I taught kids age 5-12 science, social studies & art. One of my biggest strengths is flexibility: I adapt each tutoring session to the student's needs. I am very patient - learning takes time, & I want my students to have a positive experience. I also consider myself a creative person and I like to encourage my students to be creative as well. Last year, I took a 5 month sabbatical to walk the Camino de Santiago - almost 500 miles! In my spare time, I like to read, dance, and spend time with friends. Lately I've been taking Brazilian samba and hip hop classes - I also love salsa and especially bachata. I also LOVE Star Trek and my 3 axolotls - they're so silly!
