About Sarah

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am a passionate math tutor with over 6 years of experience working with elementary students (K-5). I specialize in helping students build strong foundational skills in number sense, fluency, and problem-solving while also developing confidence and a positive relationship with math. I have worked in student-centered learning environments, including progressive school settings, where I design individualized lessons based on each child's unique needs, learning style, and goals. My experience includes 5 years as a classroom teacher and most recently, tutoring at the Shady Hill School.
