About Sarah

I have over 200 hours of tutoring experience with middle-school and high school students. I can tutor in a variety of subjects, but I am most experienced in writing help, language tutoring (Spanish and beginning to intermediate Italian), test prep, homework help and math and science subjects. I can do private lessons, small group lessons (2 to 5), continuing lessons, or just a one-off preparation lesson. I like to consult with the child and parent to get to know the needs and goals in tutoring. I can come to your home or your student/child can come to mine! I focus the lessons on ways we can help the student reach their short- and long-term goals, whether it be increased confidence in a particular subject, aiming for a certain score range on a standardized test, or another more specific set of goals based on the subject.
