About Sarah

I hold a bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development from Sacramento State (graduated with honors in 2024) and I'm Red Cross certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED for all ages. My background includes one year caring for infants and four years in an afterschool program working with children ages 4-12. Most recently, I served as a Program Developer for a large afterschool program. I believe children learn best through creativity, curiosity, and play. My care style is creative, nurturing, and play-based-I love arts and crafts, storytime, outdoor play, and pretend play. I'm currently working toward becoming a licensed in-home daycare provider, and I'm excited to begin offering small-group care in my home for children ages 0-4. My home is a warm, family-friendly environment shared with one sweet puppy and one cat. I'd love to provide consistent care for a couple of children on a daily or regular basis, building trusting relationships with both kids and parents.
