About Sarah

Hello! My name is Sarah. I am available for elderly care. I would be able to run errands for him/her such as go grocery shopping, pick up medication, etc. I am also able to help out around the house such as light house keeping, making sure that the mail is brought in, the trash is taken out. I am also able to prepare meals. I do have experience in feeding. Beginning of my college career I was a Speech Pathology major, my mother is a Speech Language Pathologist as well, because of this I have experience in feeding and swallowing. Two years ago, my grandfather had a stroke, during that time, I cared for him. I ensured he was bathed, dressed, eating, medications were taken, and helped him transport from him wheelchair to bed, wheelchair to couch/ dinner table, etc. I cared for him for 10 months. Along with my grandfather, I have volunteered at several nursing homes and hospitals. I have cared for men and women with dementia, and Alzheimer's.
