Hello! I am enthusiastic, patient, kind, and love to see children thrive. Past families would describe me as dependable, capable, trustworthy, and honest. I have several of references that I would be happy to share following initial contact with me! I am a medical student in Pittsburgh and I am hoping to do some babysitting in the evenings or on the weekends. I have worked with children of all ages (infant-young teenagers) and families of all sizes (as many as 7 children!) for the past 6 years. For a few summers, I served as nanny for 4 school-aged children. I also have experience in as a substitute teacher (grades K-8), tutor (grades 1st - college), and as a summer camp counselor. Sarah was so wonderful with our two young children (ages 1.5 and 4)! She cared for them once/week, and I always knew they were in good hands. It was such a joy to see the excitement on their faces every week when she would arrive. My daughter has several food allergies, and I was thankful for her calm confidence when we had a food exposure just before her arrival one day. She jumped into action and assisted during a hectic morning, while keeping things calm so my son wouldn’t be afraid. She was great at getting the kids outside for trips to the park, engaging them in fun activities, and leaving the playroom tidy. Miss Sarah will be dearly missed!
