About Sarah

Hi! My name is Sarah. I started caring for seniors at 18 years of age. I worked at a residential home helping to care for 25 seniors. More recently, I cared for a senior lady with dementia living in her own home. I supported her family to help her remain at home and then transition into a memory care facility. I also have 8 years experience supporting children and young people with disabilities. I like caring for seniors/people with disabilities because I enjoy providing companionship and helping people maintain their dignity and quality of life. I would describe myself as a caring, patient and trustworthy person. My top three senior/disability care skills are as follows: * Companionship and emotional support * Personal care skills (inc. bathing, dressing and mobility) * Problem solving skills I am married with two teenage children. I love to walk, explore nature and travel. I also enjoy reading and listening to music of all genres!
