About Sara

I like tutoring because, as a student, I thrived with one-on-one teaching, which taught me the value of breaking complex ideas into simple, clear steps. Now, I use that same approach with my own students adapting lessons to their pace and helping them build the confidence to tackle challenges on their own. As a rising senior studying STEM at UCSD, I love working with students and have experience tutoring math and English at all grade levels up to high school. I especially enjoy these subjects and also have a passion for guiding students through the college application process. My key skills include building student confidence, adapting to individual needs, and encouraging independent learning.
