To say that animals are a passion of mine is an understatement! I am currently enrolling in school to be a vet tech and am seeking part time pet care to help support my life in the mean time. I have over 10 years experience in caring for animals in private and professional settings. I worked for a local cat only shelter for about 2 years and was responsible for the care and upkeep of 50+ cats. I have worked in two other animal shelters throughout my life and cared for many dogs and cats. I also have about 5 years experience working with horses; cleaning stables, tacking and unpacking, grooming and some training. I am pet first aid certified and know how to remain calm in emergencies or difficult situations.
