I like caring for seniors because I genuinely enjoy helping others. I like to make a difference and show others compassion and kindness. It's important to listen to their needs and ensure they feel seen and heard.

Having my CNA license, I am skilled in several areas and I am professionally trained to provide skilled care. I am CPR and first aid certified.

Season is a sweetheart with a heart of gold! She checks in on me when my daughter is away for business. I very much enjoy our visits. She always makes sure I have what I need. Its so reassuring to know I can call her when my daughter isn't available. I love her! 

We hired Season last November to care for our mom while we went out of town for the holidays. She did a great job and was very attentive to our mom's needs. Our mom loves her! Season was a wonderful addition to my dad’s care team. My dad hated exercising, but Season had a gentle and encouraging way of getting him moving. She had him laughing and was attentive to his physical limitations while still challenging him enough to build strength and confidence. Her positive attitude and patience helped transform what used to feel like a chore into something he looked forward to. They got along very well together! After several years without a vacation due to caring for my mother, my husband and I finally decided to take a long weekend to recharge. We were introduced to Season through a friend and hired her to care for my mother during our time away. We were upfront with Season about the challenges involved—my mother can be quite resistant to bathing and is often very negative. To our surprise and delight, when we returned, we found that not only had Season managed to get my mother to shower, she had also washed her hair and even provided her with a full spa-like experience, including a manicure and pedicure! My mother was absolutely glowing! She told us she felt refreshed and like herself again, which meant the world to us!! When I asked Season how she managed to persuade my mother to bathe, she simply smiled and said she offered to let her choose the nail polish color—but explained they’d need clean hands and feet before painting. My mother agreed without hesitation! Why didn't I think of that?! Season’s creativity, patience, and gentle approach made a lasting impression on all of us! We are deeply grateful for the exceptional care she provided!

For mother's birthday, Season found a beautiful tea cup set and filled it full of thin mints (mother's favorite candy.) It's  not only the attention to detail but also Season consistently shows how much she genuinely cares. She has a natural gift for creating connection and joy. She turns ordinary days into meaningful, fun and enjoyable times my mother looks forward to! We call on Season when we need her and she's always positive and helpful! Season has helped us periodically this year as we've had to go out of town and needed help ensuring mother was taken care of. Thankful to have found Season through Care.com! I reached out to her to see if she'd be available to help with my mother while I went out of town for a work trip. Season was patient and gentle with my very stubborn and difficult mother. Mom can be a challenge but Season was poised and gave her grace. Season provided outstanding communication keeping me posted on mom while I was away. Her care is superior to other caregivers I have hired. I will be calling her again for my next work trip. 

Season played a pivotal role in mom's recovery. Her positive and encouraging attitude helped motivate mom to do the necessary exercises needed for her to heal and gain strength back. Season made it into a fun game that mom looked forward to, instead of it being a chore. Season was her cheerleader, always cheering and encouraging her on. Now that mom is fully recovered, we stay in touch with Season because she's exactly who we want caring for mom should we need it again. She is a terrific lady who wears her heart on her sleeve.

Beautiful on the inside and out! Her kindness and compassion makes her radiate. If I could duplicate her, I would because she has been the greatest blessing in my life. She acts with empathy and grace.

I wasn't sure Season would want the job as wacky as I explained it. I asked her if I could hire her to take my grandfather on a "farewell" trip. He has terminal cancer. He has family all over Indiana and in Michigan. I asked her if she would be willing to drive him and care for him and take him to go see his friends and family a final time and essentially say goodbye while he was still well enough. She worked with me to map out the best route to take so he could see everyone but also have enough time to take breaks, rest and eat at some favorite spots. The day came for his big farewell trip. Here came Season, a cooler with all of his favorite snacks, a neck pillow, a blanket, water and all kinds of his favorite music...(jazz!) My grandfather was SO EXCITED! He jumped in and they hit the road. Season shared photos with me along the way. He had an amazing trip of a lifetime and those he visited cherish those moments with him! When my grandfather got back, he talked about that trip for weeks! Season's compassion, attention to detail and thoughtfulness was so prominent in the love and care she showed him. He told me Season was an angel sent just for him and that she has a light shining all around her. I have to admit, I agree. I don't know anyone who was or is as kind and patient. It was a crazy ask, but she smiled, planned and made it happen in a BIG way!!! 
My grandfather has since passed. I can not tell you how much that trip meant to him or the family and friends he saw. One thing you can never get back is time. Season ensured his time here, those farewell moments were special. I will never be able to repay her for that. 

Season is so special and has done a tremendous job with my mother! I only wish we had found Season sooner. I admire her compassion and patience. I refer her to anyone in need of care because simply put, she's the best!

Season is a jewel! I enjoy her visits! She helps so much around the house. I am grateful for her! 

I can not express my extreme gratitude enough for this wonderful lady. Season touched my heart when she entered our lives. After my sweet husband passed, she arrived with flowers and a card. She said if I ever needed anything, I could call her. She's let me cry on her shoulder on more than one occasion. Losing a spouse is so difficult, but having a friend sit, listen, comfort you and be with you is so helpful. During my dark days, she has been my sunshine. She has ran errands for me when I didn't feel like getting out. She has done my hair and makeup for me to help me feel like myself again. She encouraged me to get out of the house and she took me to lunch and shopping. I felt like after my husband passed, life would never been good again. I miss him terribly, but with Season's help, I am beginning to feel like myself again. I am moving out of state to live closer to my children and I am so heartbroken I will not be seeing Season anymore. Should you have the opportunity to hire her, scoop her up before someone else does! She is truly a light. May God bless her and keep her.

My favorite thing about Season is her positive can do attitude. She is always smiling and bringing joy into everywhere she goes...I just love her!!!
