About Selena

I think I'm a good tutor because I care not just about the subject, but about the person learning it. I pay close attention to how someone thinks, where they get stuck, and what actually makes them light up with understanding. I don't mind explaining things more than once or trying a totally different angle if that's what it takes. For me, it's not about showing how much I know, but about meeting someone where they are and helping them get where they want to go.
