Growing up without pets, I always felt like I was missing out on something. Even though my parents were not a big fan of animals, I always had a love for them and eventually adopted my cat, Colby, and my dog, Bentley. Though I had no prior experience taking care of a pet, I was determined to learn the basic necessities as well as how to overcome obstacles, such as dog reactivity and hyperactivity. I've learned that owning a pet can have its challenges, but the loyalty they show and the companionship they provide make it all worth it.
