Hello There! I am a longterm Nanny with TONS of experience! I have been a Nanny for over 10 years. After taking a break from caregiving for 3 years to try my hand in the Tech world, I am ready to come back to where I belong! I have experience with children 0 to 17 years with ALL needs. I am also comfortable with multiples. With a background in child development & special education, I try to make every experience a time for learning. My approach to caregiving would be most closely related to the Montessori style, with a focus on independence and respect for the child. I understand the value of a schedule as well as the value of children moving at their own pace. This facilitates an environment with lots of gentle reminders which in turn allows for smooth transitions. With that I am probably the most silly adult that your child will encounter. My husband and I are both travel nurses and we have had a lot of Nannie’s through our travel. Shakee has been the best nanny we have ever had. The values they have installed in my boys are life long. My boys are 3.2, and 1. Within one day of having Shakee I felt peaceful and comfortable, even with the demands of my boys. Shakee was exactly what our family needed when we needed it. I have limited characters but Shakee would be the best decision any family could ever make in hiring.
