About Shamiyah

I'd describe my personality as funny smart and outgoing. I like working with kids because I was in the foster care system and learned how to break many generational curses and I'm only 20 yrs old!! I'm looking for a job that I will be able to connect and bond with so work isn't a daily dread. I started working with kids when I was in high school I used to help out at my aunts nursery when no one else would. In my spare time, I like to do homework and take trips just trying to live life and keep going! One thing you should know about me is I attend the University of Alabama I'm on the dean's list, a peer advisor, a peer mentor, and I am a CJ major with a social work minor! My skills include resilience, patience, and understanding. I try to understand how the child feels in any situation because I know growing I was always misunderstood.
