About Shanel

Hello! My name is Shanel, and I'm a loving, patient, and dependable caregiver with over 11 years of hands on experience as a mom, as well as outside experience caring for children from 3 months to 5 years old. I'm experienced in caring for children with complex needs, including G-tube feeding and autism, and I approach every child with compassion and attentiveness. I'd describe my personality as nurturing, warm, patient, and gentle but confident. I like working with children because I find so much meaning in helping little ones learn new things, build confidence, and feel safe and cared for. Watching their personalities bloom and knowing I can play a small part in their development is absolutely rewarding. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and being outdoors whenever possible. I love going for walks, doing arts and crafts, cooking, and finding fun little activities to do with my kids and husband.
