About Shanna

My experience caring for children consists of teaching preschool-age children at a daycare, working as a full-time nanny for two children and most importantly, my experience as the mother of my 9-year-old son. I worked as a full-time nanny for a family for 3 years, until the children grew older and they no longer needed a nanny. Since then, I have managed a restaurant for 5 years and then moved on to managing a retail store for the past year. I am interested in getting back into childcare for the quality of life benefits that come with working for a family that aren't as prevalent in the customer service industry. Looking back, I was happiest when I was a nanny, I am still in touch with the family that I became a part of for those three years, and I'm looking for that type of experience again.
