About Shannon

Hello, I'm Shannon, and caring for others is my passion. I have experience working with children aged 6 months to 17 years old, as well as with the adult and senior population. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Currently, I am attending graduate school at Brockport and will graduate with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in December. I have babysat and nannied for families since the age of 15. During my sophomore year of college, I worked full-time as a preschool teacher. I also have experience working in the Brockport Central School District as a substitute and aid in predominantly Special Education classrooms. I have experience working in classrooms ranging from preschool to twelfth grade. I also have experience as a tutor for a child with a learning disability. Additionally, I am a volunteer at Compeer where I work one on one with children who struggle with mental illness. I was also a Pre-Vocational Specialist and DSP and helped adults with disabilities.
