Hi! My name is Shannon, and I'm a 27-year-old Special Education Assistant with many years of experience in the public school system. I specialize in tutoring children from early elementary through pre-middle school, and I'm passionate about helping kids grow in both confidence and academic skills. Through my work in special education, I've supported students with a wide range of learning styles and needs. I'm patient, encouraging, and skilled at breaking lessons down into manageable, easy-to-understand steps. I believe every child learns differently, and I tailor my approach to meet each student where they are. I can help with reading, writing, math, homework support, organization, and study skills, while creating a positive and stress-free learning environment. My goal is always to make learning engaging, supportive, and confidence-building.
