About Shannon

For two decades, I've dedicated myself to nurturing children's growth and development. My graduate degree has enhanced my understanding of childhood education. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, with a genuine desire to positively impact young lives and support families. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and tailor my communication with you through daily reports, conversations at pickup, or whatever method you prefer. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, puzzles, and educational activities. I am comfortable caring for more than one child of any age. I have been certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training for previous requirements of employment, and would be happy to get certified again. I can assist with light housekeeping and swimming supervision. I am a semi-retired mental health professional with two children of my own. They are 20 and 17. I find immense joy in watching children learn and explore, and I hope to bring that joy to your family.
