Shannon watched my kids for a full Saturday during the day, and I honestly could not have asked for a better first babysitting experience for them. This was their first time ever having a sitter, and as a mom I was understandably nervous—especially because my son is autistic and new situations can be challenging for him. From the moment Shannon arrived, she was calm, kind, and incredibly intuitive with both of my kids. She met them exactly where they were, made them feel comfortable, and built trust so naturally that my worries completely melted away. By the time I got home, it was obvious they felt safe and genuinely happy with her. They were relaxed, smiling, and already asking when they’d see her again—which says everything. Shannon was attentive, patient, and engaging, and she handled everything with such confidence and care. It meant the world to me to know my kids were not just “watched,” but truly cared for. I am beyond grateful to have found her and will absolutely be reaching out to her again very soon. Any parent would be lucky to have Shannon care for their children. 💕
