About Shannon

I hired Shannon 12 hrs a week mainly to aid with senior care of my bed bound moderate stage Alzheimer's, 76 year old father in law. Duties included: making meals, serving meals & cleaning up after meals, refilling spill proof beverage cups, light housekeeping, dispensing scheduled meds, facilitating tooth brushing, emptying catheter bag, assisting in soiled diaper & bed linen changing, and some PT as patients leg condition worsened. Shannon also chat with my father in law about whatever he was in the mood to discuss or share. When my father in laws needs were met, Shannon multi-tasked by helping my 12 year old stay on track on his e-learning school days. Shannon also let my dog out when she "asked" and did her best to leave our home in better shape than when she arrived. Shannon was a valuable asset, lightening the more than full time load of carrying for a bed bound elder and school age children.
