Hi parents . My name is Shannon and I'm looking for a summer position (July-August). I've been working with children over 30 years. I have my Masters Degree in Education Kg-12 th grade . I'm currently a part time nanny to a great family. Their kids will be gone to camps this summer . I provide driving children, running errands , pet care, light house cleaning and meal preparations. I give children educational opportunities such as daily reading, counting , playing with others at the playground or at the library. I'm flexible, responsible, clean and very organized. I have great communication skills. I have taught for 20 years and have been a nanny for 9 years. Working with children is my passion. Shannon has been a wonderful, nurturing caregiver for our daughter (now 19 months) for the past year and a half, and more recently for our 2 month old son. It’s clear that Shannon is passionate about education and it makes her approach to childcare unique and thoughtful. Our daughter has thrived with her partially because she is warm and kind, and partially because she is reliable, structured and genuinely invested in seeing our daughter grow. Shannon is also very attentive and caring with our newborn, immediately supporting him through early developmental milestones. I wholeheartedly recommend her.
