About Shannon

Hi there! I'm Shannon, an experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching in grades 6-12. I'm passionate about helping students grow, discover their love for learning, and reach their fullest potential. I hold a Master's degree in Education and Creative Arts from Lesley University, and I love incorporating literature, writing, and drama into my lessons to make learning fun and engaging. I'm proud of the significant improvements my students have achieved and am honored to have received the Leventhal Excellence in Teaching Award. This summer, I'm excited to offer my skills not only as a tutor but also for childcare. I look forward to supporting your child's academic journey and ensuring they have a great time while learning. As for the school year, I'll be teaching courses in the morning but will have afternoon availability.
