About Shannon

Hello! My name is Shannon, I have been a teacher for 4 years and I absolutely LOVE teaching!! Whether your child needs help learning to read, reading to learn, taking tests, or writing essays, I will find the best resources to help them to be successful! Because curriculum and state expectations remain relatively stable throughout grades 4-12, I am able to tutor ELA and test-taking strategies for all compensatory grades. However, my absolute to tutor math depends on the grade of your child, my expertise is limited in that domain. I graduated from UNF Summa Cum Laude in 2020 with a degree in Education and have focused my career on working with students in the domains of reading, writing, test-taking skills, and behavior/social skills, differentiating instruction to be accessible to all.
