After attending school for medical assisting I have worked as a as a care giver for an elderly woman age 80 for 6 years. it started as an hourly position which led to a live in. I assisted in daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, bathing, administering medications, trips to doctor appointments and elderly activities. I treated Laura as if she were my own grandparent providing a warm, caring presence assuring her that she was in good hands every day and that she was not just a patient to me! I'm extremely passionate about being able to help someone even if its the simplest of tasks. I know it meant so much to her knowing someone was there for her and I'd like to continue to do so with future clients.
