About Shanta

Hi, my name is Shanta. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. My love for children and childcare is unconditional I enjoy hanging out with children, They are so full of amazing energy and such a joy to be around. As the eldest child of three being responsible came naturally helping my Mom with chores or keeping an eye on my younger sibling while she worked. During my after-school hours, I would spend my evening at a daycare center doing voluntary work till eventually landing my first part-time job working with (children ages 1-3) gaining experience in this setting allowed me to love children more and be passionate about childcare. One can learn so much from a child, ''like how to enjoy the simple things in life''. I have 14 years of childcare experience as a babysitter, nanny, newborn care specialist, and teacher's assistant. I worked with all ages from (newborn to 16 years old) in school and home settings.
