Hi I am Shanya Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for. With five years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, I've learned how to tailor my approach to meet each child's unique needs. I'm patient, creative, and friendly, and I believe in fostering a fun and engaging environment through outdoor activities, board games, and educational play. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I understand the importance of clear communication, so I provide daily reports, offer verbal updates at pickup, and am available via text or phone. I always follow the parents' lead when it comes to household rules. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am currently getting my second CDA (Child Development Associate) and currently work at a child care center located in downtown chicago.
