About Shari

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient, and empathic. I enjoy caring for seniors because it gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. I enjoy assisting with daily activities, exercise, organization, simple meal prep, and helping maintain a safe organized home environment. I'm looking for a job where I can use my years of experience to assist people in maintaining their highest level of independence as well as providing caregivers with a necessary break to allow them to care for their own mental and physical well being. I started caring for seniors as an occupational therapist working in skilled nursing facilities. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, hiking, and spending time with family and friends . One thing you should know about me is that I am a genuinely compassionate person. My skills include self-care assistance, mobility/exercise assistance, and meal-prep.
