Hello~ I'd describe my personality as compassionate, open minded and Patient! I think I like caring for seniors because I spent a lot of time w/my grandmothers growing up and genuinely enjoyed our time together. I believe they are wise and deserve kindness & respect! I'm looking for a job that allows me the opportunity to help other families with their loved one while providing some help financially to my family. I prefer my positions to be part-time for now but hope to be available full time in the future. I started caring for seniors when I interned at an assisted living facility in college as part of my sociology/gerontology major. Sharon has been working with my mom, who has dementia, for the past couple of months. She is extremely kind and thoughtful and provides my mom comforting companionship throughout the week. My mom is very happy when she knows Sharon will be coming to walk and sit and chat with her. Sharon's communication is great. She keeps me informed as to how my mom is doing and any needs she may have as they come up during her visits. We are very happy to have Sharon working with us!
