About Shauntae

20 years of experience have fueled my passion for supporting adults and seniors. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant with CPR and First Aid Training. I find immense satisfaction in helping people maintain their independence and well-being. My approach is patient, compassionate, and friendly. I as well have and take care of an 84-year-old father with frontal lobe dementia. So I understand the care and compassion it takes to care for this population of patients. I prioritize understanding each person's preferences and history to build a strong connection. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and incorporate memory care activities as needed. I keep families informed with written reports, verbal updates, and regular texts or calls. I'm happy to provide transportation, run errands, assist with light housekeeping, and prepare meals. I believe everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life, and I'm honored to play a part in making that possible.
