About Shauntay

I am Shauntay. I have a bachelors degree in elementary education with a minor in psychology from Purdue Fort Wayne. I have one year of experience as a 1st grade teacher. Before I began teaching, I was a nanny for 1 year for 4 children aged: 2, 6, 8, and 10. Before nannying, I was an assistant teacher at the Goddard School of Fort Wayne for 2 years. My passion is helping children see the potential in themselves, build confidence, and demonstrate the pillars of character (trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, caring, fairness, and citizenship). I pride myself on being patient (even when it's hard) and being a kind mentor to children. I believe the more positive role models a child has in their life will positively influence a child's choices. I hope I can be the light to guide your child. Thank you for taking time to read my post.
