Hi, I'm a proud mom of four amazing kids--ages 28, 21, 18, and 14--and a lifelong Central Oregon native who loves our beautiful community. My family and I enjoy camping and exploring the area's many lakes whenever we can. For most of my adult life, I've worked in a caregiver role, supporting children, seniors, and adults with developmental disabilities. I have over five years of hands-on experience specifically in elder care, helping seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. My experience spans both private home settings and assisted living facilities. I'm confident and comfortable assisting with daily living activities, medication reminders, mobility support, transportation, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and dementia care. I'm CPR certified and trained in basic first aid. My goal is always to give families peace of mind--knowing their loved one is cared for with kindness, compassion, and respect in a safe, nurturing environment.

I hired Shawna to take care of me while traveling to Bend. It is tough to trust someone when you show up to a different city and are completely dependent on them showing up. Shawna was fantastic, communicated with me the whole time, always showed up on time and even recommended her colleague to help a few days. My needs can be a little unusual and I never know how the hotel accommodations will work. Shawna was a great sport, flexible and helpful. She helped us have a great trip and I’m very thankful to have found her
