About Shayla

Hi! My name is Shayla and I'm currently a Senior at Duquesne University. I major in Sociology, minor in Political Science, and I'm perusing a pre-law certificate. Though I have no professional experience with animals, I LOVE them. I spend a lot of time around dogs. I have a mini dachshund of my own and I've done pet sitting in the past for family, friends and clients. Most recently, I watched a Shiba Inu for two weeks while his owner was out of the country. I have more experience with smaller dogs than big, but I can handle big dogs. I've spent the most time around dachshunds, golden retrievers, yorkies, Shibas, and pitbulls. Any dog within the size range of those will be a good match for me. I am really attentive and friendly which helps me quickly gain the trust of animals. I'm willing to get any clearances. I am good with reactive dogs.
