About Shayla

Caring for others is more than a job for me - it's a calling. My journey began with my grandma, whose needs sparked a desire to provide support and companionship. Although I wish I could have done more, I use this feeling to fuel my passion for providing care today. With four years of CNA experience, I offer transportation, hospice services, and support with errands, shopping, and medical management. I am also comfortable assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with patience. I'm friendly and calm, and I prioritize understanding a client's preferences and history. I communicate with families using their preferred method. I have some college education and current certifications in CPR and First Aid. I have a car, and I'm comfortable with pets. Knowing that I can make a positive impact on someone's life brings me immense joy.
